Wonderful Journey

Pilot

This one-shot is a prequel to my fic A Dangerous Pastime. Both take place in a modern-day Valdemar and follow Zach Hoffner; Pilot when he was a teenager and ADP when he's a Herald-Detective working in the serial crime unit of the Haven police department. I had it pointed out to be very early on that ADP had an X-Files-ish feel to it, and so when I wrote the prequel one-shot, I called it "Pilot"-- as in the first episode of a TV series. Haha. ♥
