I have like five entries in this blog that still need completing with Character Info and I just keep adding more. My new ADHD meds are helping me focus and clearing out the static in my brain but it's a learning curve figuring out how to get myself to focus on certain things at certain times, you know? But it's only been five days so far so I'll figure it out. I'm determined.

That aside, I couldn't sleep last night and was thinking about Marionette, because I really, REALLY love that fic, and the story line, and the entire concept, and I hate that it's been sitting around gathering dust since freaking 2003 when the entire plot is STILL, to this day, stored up in my brainspace. Like I haven't forgotten ANY of it, start to finish. It just needs to be WRITTEN. So with my newfound ability to focus, I am going to attempt to work on Marionette again.

Since each chapter of Marionette is it's own separate songfic, last night I decided that the next chapter (chapter three) is going to be set to Lifeline by We Three. I also decided that I want to use Rainbow by Sia for the chapter where Merric Chooses, but I'm not entiiiiirely sure which chapter that's going to be in yet (probably chapter five or six) so that's on the back burner for now. My musical tastes and exposure are radically different now than they were when I first started writing Marionette way back in 2003, so the soundtrack to this fic is going to be very different than it would have been if I had actually finished it back then, haha.

The first thing I have to do is get what IS done of Marionette transferred over to AO3 because FUCK FF.Net, and maybe do some editing in the process. I'm currently working on editing what I have done of A Dangerous Pastime for uploading to AO3, and I just finished editing the prologue to Evolution so it can be uploaded over there any time, but I guess Marionette is next? Though I'm thinking about doing Brothers At Arms first just because Morgan, Toby and Dori cameo in the beginning of Marionette, so it would give the AO3 peeps some reference.

BAA probably needs a lot of editing, too, though. Boo.
